QUALITY SYSTEMS LEAD

PB Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a Quality Systems Lead to drive our client food safety, quality and compliance across our client site. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical professional who is passionate about maintaining high standards, leading audits, and continuously improving quality systems within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment to be based permanently around Attleborough area.

Basic job description:

• Maintain and develop the site’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead internal audit programmes and coordinate customer and third-party audits.
• Ensure compliance with BRCGS, customer, legislative and company requirements.
• Manage customer complaints, investigations and corrective actions.
• Support customer specifications and technical information systems.
• Analyse quality data, trends and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead root cause investigations and continuous improvement projects.
• Promote a positive food safety and quality culture across the site.
• Support and develop Quality Technologists and Technical Administration teams.

Essential

• Degree or Diploma in Food Safety, Food Technology or a related discipline.
• HACCP Level 4 qualification.
• Experience managing quality systems within a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety legislation, quality standards and audits.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Desirable

• Experience with BRCGS and customer audits.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
• Experience leading technical or quality improvement projects.
